Job summary

RELX is seeking an Accountant to support general accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of accounting processes and business requirements.

The role involves ledger maintenance, statutory accounts, budgeting support and analysis across a medium to large multinational context, with growing exposure to AI tools and enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with Oracle, Fusion or PeopleSoft.
• Experience with record-to-report or billing is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance and reconciliation of financial statements.
• Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures integrity of accounting records.
• Provides financial support including forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Analyzes statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.
• Assists in documentation of accounting projects.
• Receives guidance from senior level roles and develops professional skills.
