Job summary

Pioneer Insurance is seeking a Finance professional to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, oversee internal and external reporting, and support audit requirements. This role supervises accounting processes including reconciliations and bookkeeping.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy, CPA preferred, with at least four years of relevant experience in insurance or auditing, and strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy required.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in insurance or auditing.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and support business performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IAS) and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit requirements.
  • Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules.
  • Coordinate with auditors and other departments for reporting requirements.
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff.
