Job summary

Dash Cargo in Parañaque is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will coordinate bank reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance, while supporting internal and external audits and process improvements. Strong Excel and QuickBooks skills are essential.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and prior supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Experience in accounting roles, typically with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Experience in inventory management and cost accounting is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervision: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and guide staff (accountants/clerks).
• Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and financial reports.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Transactional Accuracy: Review AP/AR, payroll, vendor payments, and expense reports for compliance and accuracy.
• Compliance & Audits: Assist with internal/external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., VAT, BIR) and accounting policies.
• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and manage accounting software input.
