Job summary

TRUSTERA SOLUTIONS INC in Makati, Philippines, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial records and ensure compliance with Philippine standards. The role focuses on supervising AP/AR, producing accurate financial statements, and supporting year-end audits while improving processes and controls.

The ideal candidate has a BS Accountancy, 3–5 years experience with at least 2 in a lead role, strong Xero skills, and excellent Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy degree; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years accounting experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience in AP, AR and financial statement prep.
• Hands-on with Xero accounting software.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; closing, reporting, bank reconciliation, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain Books of Accounts per PFRS and Philippine standards.
• Prepare, review, and generate financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee fixed assets, acquisitions, disposals, and adjustments.
• Review and post adjusting journals; ensure accuracy of schedules.
• Conduct variance analysis and present insights.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
• Ensure BIR registrations, issuances, and tax filings compliance.
• Lead during year-end external audits and coordinate audit requirements.
• Develop and implement accounting processes, controls, and policies.
• Supervise AP and AR functions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Plan, assign, and monitor accounting staff to meet deadlines.
• Identify operational gaps and propose process improvements.
• Support management on ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
