Job summary

TruLaboratories Corporation in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a full-time role integral to financial integrity and reporting accuracy. The position is based on-site in Cubao and supports strategic decision-making.

The role oversees daily accounting operations, inventory controls, month-end/year-end closes, tax compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to provide strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the accounting/finance function.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Sage Peachtree accounting software is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Oversee and audit inventory management processes, including inventory recording, reconciliation, movement monitoring, and accuracy of inventory reports.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of relevant reports
• Provide support and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and proper internal controls
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filing and compliance with relevant regulations
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes
