Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in General Accounting, AR and AP with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares accounting entries and ensures the general ledger balances with detailed records.
• Reviews monthly income/expenses and produces department reports.
• Reconciles revenue and expense accounts and verifies invoices before payment.
• Processes wire/funding transfers and reconciles bank statements monthly.
• Monitors AR/receivables and ensures proper recording of all transactions.
• Schedules and assists audit schedules; handles tax filings and remittance.
• Directly supervises lower-level accounting personnel.

About the role

This role involves managing accounting operations, including preparing accounting entries, reconciling accounts, processing financial transactions, and supervising lower-level accounting personnel. The position requires oversight of revenue and expenses, customer account management, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares accounting entries and checks that the general ledger balances with detailed account records

• Reviews monthly income and expenses and prepares reports for different departments

• Reviews and reconciles revenue and expense accounts

• Reviews and verifies invoices and vouchers before payment

• Processes wire and funding transfers and reconciles monthly bank statements

• Monitors revenue and expenses and ensures all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system

• Monitors reimbursement billings and receivables, and ensures accounts receivable are reconciled monthly

• Schedule and assist audit schedules

• Tax Filings and Remittance

• Directly supervises the work of the lower-level accounting personnel

About you

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• At least 5 years of experience in General Accounting, AR, and AP, including supervisory experience

• Knowledge of SAP or Inforsun accounting software is an advantage

• Knowledge on Tax Requirements including filing and remittances

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications
