Job summary

AMS Group of Companies is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage a team handling AP, AR, billing, and disbursements.

The role focuses on compliance, internal controls, process improvement, and providing reliable financial insights for management decisions. Onsite work is required in Ortigas, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required; CPA advantageous.
• 2–5 years of supervisory experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience in manpower/recruitment or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audit and tax compliance.
• Detail-oriented with leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily accounting operations and accounting staff.
• Review, verify, and approve financial transactions and supporting docs.
• Prepare accurate financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
• Monitor receivables, payables, expenses and revenues.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of billing, costing and recording of transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, banks and auditors.

Job description

We are looking for highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor who will take the lead in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing a team handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, billing, and disbursements.

This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, strengthening, internal controls, improving accounting processes, and providing reliable financial insights to support management decisions.

What You\'ll Do

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the accounting team
• Review, verify, and approve financial transactions and supporting documentation
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow)
• Monitor and analyze financial activities including receivables, payables, expenses, and revenues
• Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure resolution of discrepancies
• Ensure accuracy of billing, costing and recording of transactions
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements (BIR)
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, banks, and auditors
• Mentor, train and support accounting staff for continuous improvement

What We\'re Looking For
