Job summary

Gentem Consulting in Metro Manila is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to manage daily accounting operations, monitor activities, and generate monthly financial reports used for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.

The role also covers payroll processing for non-key personnel, remittance of payroll taxes and government reporting, and ensuring timely financial reconciliations, audits, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor manages the daily accounting operations by monitoring and analyzing accounting activities. The function is accountable for generating monthly financial report which will be used for budgeting, forecasting and other financial decision-making of the organization. The incumbent is responsible in supporting business leaders and employees in the timely and efficient management of financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations and audits.

The role also handles processing of payroll for non-key personnel, including timely and accurate remittance of payroll taxes and government reporting as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statements. It is also accountable in creation of online payable banking transactions and authorizing online collection transactions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 3 years’ related experience
• Proficient in excel, word, SAP or other related accounting software
• Must be willing to work onsite in Mandaluyong City
