Job summary

Ambitech in the Philippines seeks a Senior Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. You will maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards, delivering reliable reports to management.

Based in Parañaque, this on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, at least 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting and month-end closing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with data analysis skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and analytical.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work on-site and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Record and review financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Ensure proper classification of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Perform bank, accounts payable/receivable, and other reconciliations.
• Reconcile BIR Form 2307 when applicable and ensure it matches records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor supplier payments, collections, and receivables.
• Assist with month-end closing and ensure timely reports.
• Analyze expenses and identify cost-saving or process-improvement opportunities.
• Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to management.

Ambitech is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting. The role requires someone who can maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide reliable reports for management use.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Ensure proper classification of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
• Perform bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other account reconciliations.
