Job summary

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy or BS Financial Management; 4+ years in general accounting and 4+ years in a senior role.
• Hotel or real estate industry experience preferred.
• Experience in cost control, budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory cost management.
• Familiar with tax filings and reporting deadlines (BIR).
• Willing to be assigned in Malay, Aklan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, including monitoring expenses, inventory, and vendor transactions.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, cost analyses, variance reports, and operational summaries.
• Monitor Food & Beverage and operational costs to ensure expenses stay within budget.
• Perform cost control functions, including monitoring cost drivers and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and review vendor payments and POS transactions.
• Oversee purchasing and inventory controls, ensuring proper auditing of POs, receiving reports, and supplier invoices.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, financial policies, and internal control measures.

Alta Vista de Boracay (Managed by DMCI PDI Hotels, Inc.) is looking for an Accounting Supervisor. The successful candidate will be hired directly by DMCI PDI Hotels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including monitoring expenses, inventory, and vendor transactions.

• Prepare accurate financial reports, cost analyses, variance reports, and operational summaries.

• Monitor Food & Beverage and operational costs to ensure expenses remain within budget.

• Perform cost control functions, including monitoring cost drivers, analyzing variances, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to budget targets.

• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and review vendor payments and POS transactions (voids, discounts, staff meals).

• Oversee purchasing and inventory controls, ensuring proper auditing of POs, receiving reports, and supplier invoices.

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, financial policies, and internal control measures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Financial Management, or related courses.

• At least 4 years of experience in general accounting and 4 years in a senior-level role.

• Preferably with hotel or real estate industry experience.

• With experience in cost control, budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory cost management.

• Knowledgeable in accounting systems (IPAS preferred).

• Familiar with accounting deadlines and reporting requirements (tax, BIR, etc.).

• Diligent, persistent, and able to multitask.

• Willing to be assigned in Malay, Aklan.
