Job Summary
We are looking for an Accounting Staff to support daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, accounting document management, and basic tax compliance preparation.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting software, double-entry bookkeeping, debit and credit concepts, journal entries, and Philippine tax-related documents such as BIR Form 2307, VAT Relief, and Alphalist.
Location
- Mandaluyong City (near SM Megamall)
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Alternate Saturday work may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare and record basic journal entries based on debit and credit principles.
- Organize and maintain invoices, Official Receipts (OR), Collection Receipts (CR), billing statements, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and cash monitoring.
- Organize and monitor BIR Form 2307 received from suppliers and customers.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT Relief and supporting documents.
- Assist in the preparation of Alphalist and year-end tax-related requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting-related concerns.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Finance/Accounting Manager.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or any related course.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong accounting fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Understanding of debit and credit concepts, journal entries, and general ledger accounts.
- Familiarity with BIR Form 2307, VAT Relief, and Alphalist is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Philippine tax compliance and filing requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
- Able to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Willing to work in Mandaluyong City.
