Staff is responsible for performing general accounting duties, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, assisting in financial analysis, and supporting the organization in achieving its financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
- Record and process financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
- Ensure the accuracy of ledgers and financial records.
Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and summaries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve accounting
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification or ongoing studies in CPA, CMA, or similar qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience
- Entry-level candidates are welcome, but 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance is an advantage.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, financial reporting, or auditing is beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with tax filing processes and compliance requirements.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
