Job summary

IT Avenue General Merchandise is seeking an Accounting Staff to support the accounting department across Cavite, Lipa, and Asus Concept Store. You will handle clerical tasks, assist in maintaining accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards while supporting daily operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 1–2 years’ experience, proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero or similar) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining records.
• Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable and financial reconciliation.
• Basic knowledge of tax procedures and financial regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting and audits support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare miscellaneous payment vouchers accurately and timely.
• Prepare Monthly Accounts Payable Aging Report.
• Prepare Sales Reports and 2307 for BIR compliance.
• Prepare Monthly Inventory Reports.
• Handle banking transactions and check processing when needed.
• Request tax clearance certifications from BIR for settlements.
• Collect payments for permits as required quarterly.
• Perform general office tasks to support smooth operations.
• Provide administrative support to Accounting Head and team.
