Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in a dynamic hotel-focused environment. You will manage clerical and accounting tasks, maintain accurate records, and prepare financial reports with attention to detail.

With a minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience (hotel accounting preferred), proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, you will support management, ensure compliance, and help drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, hotel accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
• Accurate with strong attention to detail and numbers.
• Data entry and filing/record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Type accurately and prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
• Reconcile accounts promptly.
• Bank runs (as needed).
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database.
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
• Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems.
• Inform management and compile reports on activity areas.
• Follow established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of prior accounting experience, hotel accounting experience is preferred.
• degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
