FSR Accounting Services is seeking an Accounting and Tax Compliance Specialist in the Philippines. The role involves preparing, reviewing, reconciling, monitoring, and submitting accounting reports, tax reports, and government compliance documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Key tasks include managing journal entries, tax filing, and supporting audits, with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining compliant records. A 3–5 year accounting background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have solid knowledge of Philippine taxation and accounting principles.
• Experience in financial reporting and tax compliance is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

About the role

The Accounting and Tax Compliance Specialist is responsible for the preparation, review, reconciliation, monitoring, and submission of accounting reports, financial schedules, tax reports, and government compliance requirements of the company. The position ensures that all accounting records are accurate, complete, properly supported, and submitted within the required deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and file tax returns
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other statutory requirements
• Support tax audits and government compliance activities
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
• Monthly Client Visit

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
• At least 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with an accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, accounting principles, and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
