Job summary

AvantePH is seeking an Accounting Specialist to maintain precise financial records and support daily accounting operations in a fast-paced F&B environment. The role emphasizes timely transaction processing, standards compliance, and accurate financial reporting.

The candidate will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations, inventory-related entries, and month-end closings while ensuring proper documentation and cross-department coordination. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related course.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledgeable in inventory, sales reporting and supplier reconciliation is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and record daily sales, COGS, and inventory-related transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and petty cash.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing of books.
• Prepare journal entries, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding billing and payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
• Support audit and tax requirements as needed.

Job Description
