Job summary

Abraham Holdings, Inc. in Pasay City, Metro Manila, is seeking an Accounting Officer to maintain financial records and ensure timely reporting.

The role covers accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements. The successful candidate will support month-end and year-end closes, maintain fixed asset records, and provide insights to management.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the Accounting & Reporting function
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations
• Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a timely basis
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Perform analysis and provide insights to management as needed
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support
