Job summary

Nestlé Philippines seeks an Accounting Operation Specialist/PEC Coordinator for the night shift to oversee accounting operations including PEC, AR, AP, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will ensure timely close, apply NAS/NIBS standards, and drive process improvements in collaboration with markets and NBS teams.

You will coach team members, maintain control procedures, and support audits while ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, intercompany balances, and fixed assets reconciliations

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Accounting Operations (AO), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) activities in scope for Nestlé Business Services are executed timely and per KPIs.
• Drive excellence in AO/AR/AP by implementing best practices and internal controls; propose changes for efficiency.
• Ensure PEC steps are performed accurately and on time; follow up on open items in all assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare Magnitude Schedules on-time per NAS/NIBS.
• Review and sign-off the BSR Master reconciliation file for assigned company codes.
• Coordinate PEC debriefs, workstream reviews, and MOR to resolve open items.
• Coach and train team members; build functional capability.
• Ensure AO/AR/AP activities are executed timely per KPIs; conduct PEC daily calls and reviews.
• Monitor financial accuracy; apply internal controls procedures; support markets.
• Provide auditors with required information within timeframes.
• Process manual journal entries in Nessoft; execute bank, BTQ, Fixed Assets reconciliations; ensure SLAs are met.
