• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with supervisory or managerial exposure.
• Retail industry experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with high-volume transactions, inventory, and multi-location/store accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting standards.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of sales, purchases, inventory and operating expenses.
• Monitor accounting transactions across stores or business units.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory stakeholders.
• Review and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows.
• Identify accounting risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Accounting team.
