Job summary

Conti's Specialty Foods Inc. is seeking an Accounting Officer to oversee financial records and ensure accuracy and integrity across statements, journals and ledgers. This on-site role supports daily bookkeeping, payables/receivables, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Accountancy, with CPA preferred, and has at least 5 years of relevant experience, including warehouse inventory reporting and people management.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Preferably a Certifies Public Accountant.
• With warehouse inventory experience for financial reporting.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledgeable in Full Financial Statement, PNL Report and Income Statement.
• With Basic Knowledge in External Audit and BIR Audit.
• With People Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, validates, submit and/or files financial reports (financial statement, cost of sales, price value analysis, intercompany reconciliation, asset depreciation).
• Conducts account analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting entries.
• Validates encoded quantities in month-end inventory count; coordinates new item with Inventory Custodians and inventory accuracy with Store Operations.
• Analyze the comparison of actual income statement balances with the budget.
• Able to exemplify and coach direct reports.

Job description

The Accounting Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in FTI Taguig Arca South, responsible for supporting the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This role prepares, reviews, and analyzes financial statements, journals, and ledgers, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. The Accounting Officer will handle daily bookkeeping, monitor payables and receivables, assist with bank reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves using accounting software to generate reports, track financial performance, and support internal and external audits.
