Qualifications

  • Experience managing reconciliation processes, financial reporting, and accounting activities.

The position also leads process improvement initiatives, manages reconciliation functions, and develops team capability to support operational excellence.

The position also leads process improvement initiatives, manages reconciliation functions, and develops team capability to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of fiduciary reports, including financial statements, trustee reports, provident fund statements, insurance commission reports, ad hoc reports, and client reporting requirements.
  • Manage fund reconciliation, loan administration, and fiduciary accounting activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
  • Validate and reconcile general ledger balances, securities holdings, loan accounts, provident accounts, and fund unit/share balances.
  • Ensure reports submitted to clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
  • Review reconciliation variances, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues and improve data integrity.
  • Coordinate with internal business units and external parties, including auditors, regulators, and counterparties, on reporting and reconciliation matters.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through continuous training, performance support, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and turnaround times.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, reconciliation, or related financial operations functions.
  • Experience managing reconciliation processes, financial reporting, and accounting activities.
