Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise accounting staff, including account payable, accounts receivable, and payroll teams.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and tax filings.
• Oversee external audits and tax return preparations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement necessary changes.
• Provide support for strategic financial decisions and planning.
• Attend meetings that require financial decision-making including compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform other duties that may be required in managing the accounting team and other tasks that may be assigned by the Management.
