Job summary

Supersam is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations in our Manila-area finance team. You will manage financial data, produce accurate statements, and enforce sound accounting principles.

You will mentor staff, oversee AP/AR, GL, payroll, and reconciliations, and collaborate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure regulatory compliance while driving data-driven improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA credential is a plus.
• 5+ years total accounting experience, with at least 2 years as Accounting/Finance Manager.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP/accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Xero) and databases.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, laws, and financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Direct staff workflow, establish goals, and foster professional development.
• Monitor and consolidate data to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Perform variance analysis and deliver reports to senior management.
• Establish and refine accounting methods, controls, and policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
• Leverage accounting software to streamline reporting and handle large datasets.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.
