Job summary

JG Summit Holdings Inc. seeks a seasoned Controllership professional to lead accounting and global Record to Report processes. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely closing across monthly and annual cycles, while coordinating internal controls and regulatory disclosures.

The role includes SAP-based governance, consolidation via BPC/OneStream, and driving automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and governance within finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and timely financial results.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, BSP, etc.).
• Coordinate and support external audits with audit schedules and documentation.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes and timely invoicing in coordination with Shared Services.
• Manage consolidation and reporting of subgroups in BPC/OneStream.
• Drive end-to-end strategy, governance, and continuous improvement for the global finance process.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digital solutions.

Controllership (Accounting Manager and Global Process Owner for Record to Report):

• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure the timely finalization of financial results
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules
• Prepare and review statutory and management financial statements and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements imposed by the BIR, SEC, BSP, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate and support external audits through the timely preparation and review of audit schedules, analyses, and documentation.
• Oversee the accounts receivable process, including the timely issuance of invoices in close coordination with the shared service.
• Manage the consolidation and financial reporting of subgroups in BPC/OneStream
• Own the end-to-end strategy, governance, design, standardization, policies, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives for the assigned global finance process.
• Drive process transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, scalability, and control across finance operations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and champion the implementation of automation and digital solutions.
• Evaluate escalated business requirements and process enhancement requests
• Lead system enhancement initiatives and establish general ledger & Group COA requirements to support IFRS 18 implementation.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (Certified Public Accountant preferred);
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory position or management capacity;
• Hands on proficiency with ERP systems specifically SAP;
