Job summary

RIMINI CHPH FASHIONS, INC. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations in a retail environment. You will own the month-end close, supervise the accounting team, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance.

You will partner with management on financial planning, audits, and process improvements, while strengthening internal controls and driving efficiency across accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Retail, FMCG, or distribution background is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
• Proficient in SAP, QuickBooks or similar ERP systems.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, HR, and marketing to align financial practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Own month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and data integrity.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial results and prepare management reports highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure proper accounting for sales, inventory, shrinkage, and cost of goods sold.
• Maintain accounting systems and procedures aligned with retail operations and store processes.
• Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
