Job summary

TigerUX in Cebu City, Philippines, seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance. You will drive month-end closings, financial reporting, and team development.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize controls, and coordinate with external auditors and partners to advance our finance initiatives. The role requires CPA and 5-8 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company’s accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and financial reporting standards.


• Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance and optimize tax efficiency.


• Review and enhance accounting processes, controls, and procedures.


• Ensure accurate and timely accounting records, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities.


• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business objectives and decision-making.


• Review and analyze financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports.


• Conduct account audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accounting policies and procedures.


• Coordinate with outsourced accounting firms and external partners on finance-related initiatives.


• Perform other accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.


• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).


• At least 2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager and 4 years of experience as a Senior Accounting Supervisor.


• Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in people management.


• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
