The Filipino Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, Inc. (FILSCAP) is a non-stock, non-profit organization established in 1965. It is dedicated to enforcing the public performance and reproduction rights of composers, lyricists, music publishers, and copyright owners of musical works.

As a regular member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), a Paris-based global network of composer societies, FILSCAP upholds the protection of intellectual property rights worldwide.

Currently, FILSCAP is the only performing rights society in the Philippines authorized to license over 20 million copyrighted local and international musical works. This is made possible through Deeds of Assignment from its members and Reciprocal Agreements with affiliate performing rights societies abroad.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage financial transactions, including electronic banking and accounting software applications.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and internal controls.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the accounting team.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from a reputable institution.

• Proficient in accounting software, electronic banking, and Microsoft Office applications.
