Job summary

GOLDEN ABC, INCORPORATED is seeking a Finance Manager/Controller to direct and supervise the company’s financial affairs from its Balintawak, Quezon City office. You will oversee reporting, budgeting, and P&L for departments while guiding a team of accountants.

The role requires a BS in Accountancy, CPA, and 5+ years of relevant experience, with SAP S/4HANA and advanced MS Office skills highly valued. onsite work expected.

Qualifications

• BS Accountancy required; CPA certification preferred.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Direct or supervise the management, control and report of all financial affairs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees portions of management reporting and department profit and loss
• Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
• Designs and maintains the accounting system
• Prepares periodic financial reports and supervising the work of the staff accountants who process accounts payable, accounts receivables, and who maintain the fixed asset records
• Reviews and establishes policies and procedures for the most effective control and use of financial resources
• Coordinates and integrates services into the overall functioning of the company while continuously assessing and improving the financial services provided
• Prepares reports necessary for regulatory reporting
• Ensures records systems are maintained in accordance with Philippine Accounting Standards
• Advises units on improvement of current fiscal procedures, implementation of new fiscal policies, and training of accounting and administrative personnel

QUALIFICATIONS

• College graduate of BS Accountancy. Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably with SAP S4 Hana experience
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures.
• Must have advance knowledge in all Microsoft Office Applications and not limited to new software applications.
• Knowledgeable in Financial report preparation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical skills and with a keen eye to details.
