The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. They ensure the accuracy of financial reports, compliance with financial regulations, and effective management of company budgets. They also provide guidance to the accounting team and support the Finance Head in strategic financial planning.
Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Perform financial analysis and provide reports to management for decision-making.
Monitor budgets and analyze financial performance.
Manage and mentor a team of accountants and finance staff.
Assign tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training programs for staff development.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, BIR regulations, and other government requirements.
