Job description

• Oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Monitor production costs, material usage, labor costs, and manufacturing overhead.
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure proper accounting of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and financial reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• CPA is preferred.
• At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a controllership or managerial position.
• Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
• Strong experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of PFRS and Philippine taxation.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
