Job summary

Archipelago Builders Corporation seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee the daily operations of accounting, Treasury, Credit and Collection, and Archiwall Corp operations. You will monitor, analyze, and report on financial data, while enforcing sound accounting policies across multiple reporting areas.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting management, leadership ability, and bilingual communication. Based at our head office in Quezon City with exposure to construction-sector finance.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Filipino.
• Willing to be assigned in Head Office located in Quezon City.

About the role

Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting, Treasury, Credit and Collection, and Archiwall Corp operations. This role involves monitoring and analyzing accounting data, preparing financial statements and analysis, and establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles across multiple reporting areas.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements (monthly)

• Prepare financial statements and analysis as company-wide consolidated reports

• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles for cash/bank forecasting monitoring, treasury, budgeting, credit and collection, general ledger, accounts payable, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, and debt activity

• Prepare budget reports, analysis of budgets and comparative reports

• Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and other financial groups relating to company finance - AFS (audited financial statements)

• Prepare FS for in-house use (for bidding and prequalification)

• Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new regulations and taking appropriate action for BIR and LGU audit

• Improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions

• Track cash flow and financial planning and analyze the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and propose strategic directions

• Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits

About you

• At least more than 5 years working experience as Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
