Job summary

Starlight Business Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations across a group of companies. You will ensure accurate, timely reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and provide insights to support management decisions.

The role requires 5 years of relevant accounting experience, supervisory exposure, and solid knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax regulations. Hybrid setup with on-site and work-from-home elements is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience handling accounting and financial reporting for multiple companies is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general accounting, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting and financial activities of the group of companies.
• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation, and general ledger activities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, financial performance, and other key financial indicators.
• Review financial reports and identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, banks, and other financial institutions when necessary.
• Provide management with financial analysis, reports, and recommendations for business decisions.
• Perform other financial and accounting-related duties as assigned by management.
