MISNet, Incorporated in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the Accounting, Finance, and Administration teams. You will oversee daily operations and ensure timely financial reporting, budgets, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
The role requires CPA, at least 5 years in a similar role, and strong leadership. You will work closely with the Chairman to drive compliance and organizational efficiency across departments.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting, Finance, and Administration departments. Reporting directly to the Chairman, the role provides leadership and direction to ensure departmental objectives are achieved. The position also oversees the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, budgets, and analyses, providing Management and stakeholders with the information needed to make sound business decisions.
Monitor cash flow, receivables, government remittances, SEC reportorial requirements, contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers, billing for T&M and fixed projects, compensation and benefits, and municipal permit and tax payments.
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports to support sound business decisions by Management and other stakeholders.
Ensure the timely preparation and filing of government reports and tax returns.
Prepare cash position reports and cash flow projections.
Prepare foreign invoices, projection reports, journal vouchers, and business correspondences.
Prepare employee action forms for salary adjustments and notices.
Prepare quarterly BIR income tax returns.
Analyze accounts and generate internal financial reports.
Review sales invoices, disbursements (check vouchers and cheques).
Encode and review payroll data, process payroll computations, and approve payroll online.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
At least 5 years of relevant experience in an Accounting Manager role.
Managerial or assistant managerial experience in Finance – General/Cost Accounting, Taxation, or equivalent required.
Hands-on experience in handling BIR audits, including Letters of Authority (LOA) and Notices of Discrepancy (NOD).
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, audit, taxation, and payroll.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Xero Accounting System.
Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
High level of attention to detail and integrity.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
