Job summary

Primer Group of Companies is seeking an Accounting Manager to consolidate and analyze the financial reports for the E-commerce Business, ensuring accuracy of Financial Statements and related schedules. The role involves reviewing processes, supporting ERP initiatives, and assisting senior leadership with financial reporting.

You will lead the Financial Reporting team, coordinate with Shared Services, and work with Tax and audit teams to meet closing deadlines and deliver compliant reports.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• At least 10 years in accounting/finance with 5+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor timely submission of financial reports for accuracy.
• Supervise the Financial Reporting team administratively and functionally.
• Review reports from each business unit and adjust for accuracy before submission.

Job description

The Accounting Manager is responsible for collating and analyzing the financial reports of the E-commerce Business to ensure the accuracy of the Financial Statements and all related schedules and reports. He/She performs regular reviews, recommends improvements to accounting and financial systems, and assists in special projects involving backend business support and ERP implementation. He/She also assists the AVP/VP in carrying out the Financial Reporting responsibilities of the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the timely and accurate submission of the following financial reports
• Supervise the Financial Reporting team both functionally and administratively.
• Review the financial reports of each business unit and recommend necessary adjustments to ensure the accuracy of reports prior to submission to the Controllership team.
• Coordinate with the Finance & Accounting Shared Services team to ensure agreed closing activities and timelines are met.
• Recommend guidelines and policies to improve operational, administrative, and financial processes for the E-commerce Business.
• During the annual external audit, supervise the Financial Reporting team to ensure audit requirements are submitted on time and agreed audit timelines are met.
• Work closely with the Tax team in providing the required tax schedules and supporting reports.
• Assist in the ERP implementation for the E-commerce Business.
• Support special projects requiring the involvement of the Financial Reporting team.
• Supervise the Financial Reporting regional outsourcing team.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate leader.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
