• We are looking for an experienced Accounting Head / Lead to oversee the financial operations of our trading and retail business. The ideal candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in accounting management, preferably within the e-commerce, retail, or trading industries. This role involves monitoring and reconciling multiple revenue streams, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting financial planning and cash flow management. The Accounting Head will supervise the Accounting Assistant and collaborate with accounting and auditing consultants to maintain financial integrity and efficiency.
• Oversee and reconcile receivables and payments from various e-commerce platforms, including Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok, and other digital sales sources .
• Monitor and reconcile payments from other sources , including Gcash, credit cards, bank deposits, and direct sales transactions .
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data, tracking all revenue streams and outstanding balances.
• Compute and process sales commissions , ensuring timely payment and disbursement.
• Coordinate with the sales team to manage invoicing, receivables, billing, and collections.
• Ensure all invoices are recorded accurately and aligned with sales transactions.
• Supervise and guide the Accounting Assistant in daily financial operations.
• Work closely with accounting and auditing consultants to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of financial policies to improve efficiency.
• Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management:
• Support business segment leads in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company maintains a healthy financial position.
• Identify financial risks and propose strategies for improvement.
• Operational & Administrative Support:
• Oversee cashier-related processes , ensuring smooth financial transactions and fund management.
• Ensure financial records, reports, and transactions comply with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Provide monthly financial reports and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in trading, retail, or e-commerce .
• Previous experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant is required.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce payment platforms and financial reconciliation (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok, etc.).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams across departments.
• Experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and financial planning is a plus.
