WORK SETUP: Mid Shift

SALARY: PHP 50k – 60k

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant Manager to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day international and local payment operations, supervising payment-related activities, and ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of transactions.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in global payments, AP/AR operations, and closing activities, with the ability to lead a small team, manage priorities, and continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities
  1. Day-to-Day Payment Operations
    • Manage and execute daily international and local payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
    • Oversee the end-to-end payment lifecycle, including invoices, employee expense reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
    • Supervise payment-related activities and allocate tasks within the team to ensure timely completion and balanced workload.
    • Prepare payment schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., banks, auditors, and management).
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for payment-related inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
    • Ensure all payments are processed within agreed turnaround times (TATs) and in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  2. Analysis & Reporting
    • Support the preparation and review of payment-related reports, including international payment and fee-related transactions.
    • Monitor payment performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
  3. Ad-hoc Responsibilities
    • Perform other finance and operations-related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or business operations, with strong exposure to:
  • Day-to-day operations
  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
  • Closing activities
  • International or global payments
  • Demonstrated job stability (minimum of 2 years with an organization).
  • Experience managing or supervising a team is required.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides), including advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting
