Job summary

PB Resource Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and lead the accounting team. The position is based on-site in Makati City with a Monday to Saturday schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role, and strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and financial reporting. CPA is preferred, and proficiency in Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required, CPA preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
• Experience in general accounting, financial statements, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in construction/project accounting is a plus; on-site Makati work is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting team and review records for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee timely preparation and submission of BIR tax returns and other reports.
• Review payroll computations, expenses, reimbursements, and supplier payments.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and project expenses; explain variances to management.
• Maintain organized accounting records and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Provide financial information and recommendations to support management decisions.
