RK PHILIPPINES INC. in Makiling Calamba City, Laguna, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure timely financial reporting.

This full-time role leverages your expertise in financial management to contribute to the company’s success. You will manage day-to-day accounting activities, prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and lead month-end and year-end closes while implementing robust internal controls and mentoring the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong reporting, budgeting and forecasting abilities.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with strong leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts for management.
• Lead month-end and year-end close ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and policies.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices.

As Accounting Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. What you'll be doing

1. Manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide valuable insights to the management team
3. Oversee the month‑end and year‑end closing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
4. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies
5. Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
6. Collaborate cross‑functionally to support the company's strategic initiatives
7. Stay up‑to‑date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and recommend improvements to accounting processes

What we’re looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA certification preferred
2. Minimum 3‑ 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry
3. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
5. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
