Job summary

TigerUX is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in Cebu City, Philippines. You will ensure GAAP compliance, manage month-end closes, and drive accurate financial reporting while developing tax strategies to optimize efficiency.

The role requires CPA certification, a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, and 5–8 years of accounting experience with people management. This on-site position offers Government-mandated benefits and additional leave credits.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.

• At least 2 years as Accounting Manager and 4 years as Senior Accounting Supervisor.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance and optimize tax efficiency.
• Review and enhance accounting processes, controls, and procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting records, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business objectives and decision-making.
• Review and analyze financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct account audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with outsourced accounting firms and external partners on finance-related initiatives.
• Perform other accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 2 years of experience as an Accounting Manager and 4 years of experience as a Senior Accounting Supervisor.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in people management.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
