Job summary

Country Funders Finance Corporation in Ortigas, Pasig City, invites an experienced Accounting Head (CPA) to lead the finance team. You will oversee all accounting operations, ensure robust controls, and provide reliable financial reporting to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 5–7 years of accounting experience with at least 3 in supervision, a strong command of PFRS and Philippine tax rules, ERP/Excel proficiency, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Valid CPA license in the Philippines with PRC registration.
• 5–7 years accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with Microsoft Excel expertise.
• In‑depth knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, internal audit processes, and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and relevant accounting regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal financial policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members, including training, performance management, and professional development.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial management systems to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate audit preparation and tax compliance.
• Analyse financial data and prepare management reports to support strategic business decisions and planning.
• Manage the company's general accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
• Oversee payroll processing and employee benefit administration in coordination with the human resources department.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost‑effective accounting solutions.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accounting Head (CPA) to join our finance team on a full‑time basis at our office in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a pivotal leadership position within our organisation, where you will oversee all accounting operations and ensure the company maintains robust financial controls, compliance, and reporting standards. What we’re looking for

• Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the Philippines with current Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) registration

• Minimum of 5‑7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with Microsoft Excel expertise

• In‑depth knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements

• Strong understanding of financial controls, internal audit processes, and risk management principles

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage complex financial information accurately

• Proven leadership and team management capabilities with strong communication skills

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience in the financial services or lending industry is highly desirable
