Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Review payroll, vouchers, bank transactions, cash deposits, and reconciliations.
• Lead budgets, financial reports, and management reports.
• Coordinate tax preparation and compliance with external agencies.
• Manage disbursements, asset transactions, and service charge computations.
• Maintain accounting records in QuickBooks and Google Workspace.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Establish strong financial controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide financial insights to support business planning.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by executives.

The Gastro Club Corporation (TGC) is a growing food and beverage company based in Davao City, operating restaurant that offer diverse dining experiences. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Head to lead our accounting and finance operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the company's overall accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of financial transactions.

• Review and verify payroll, check vouchers, bank transactions, cash deposits, and reconciliations.

• Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets, financial reports, and management reports.

• Oversee tax preparation and compliance and coordinate with external accounting, banks, and other financial institutions.

• Manage and review disbursements, liquidations, asset transactions, event expenses, and Service Charge computations.

• Ensure proper recording and maintenance of accounting records through QuickBooks and google workspace.

• Lead internal and external audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business planning and decision-making.

• Tasks assigned by the executives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Accounting, or Finance.

• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with supervisory or leadership experience.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.

• Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Highly meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
