Deutsche Bank AG in Manila is seeking an Accounting Control Associate to support production processes, prepare and review inputs to financial reports, and act as the first point of contact for engagements with the wider Finance community.
You will collaborate with Front and Middle Office, Country Finance teams, and Operations to resolve issues, mitigate risks, fortify controls, and drive process improvements using data insights and responsible AI tools.

The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. Your role involves preparation and first level escalation point of contact of the Bank’s production processes that includes Head Office Reporting and Risk Reporting. You will be producing and/or performing quality assurance on reports submitted by the team to different stakeholders involving processes listed above. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this function. Your role will help hone your stakeholder management skills as you will have the opportunity to closely interact with Front and Middle Office, Country Finance teams, Operations and other support functions.
Prepare and/or review inputs to the financial reports in scope, covering data gathering, data polishing, data reporting and submission. Act as the first point of contact for engagements with the wider Finance community, taking part in initiatives to improve processes and maximize efficiencies. Collaborate with various teams to resolve issues, mitigate risks and fortify controls. Establish and implement procedures to monitor, measure, and improve performance against SLAs and KPIs. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and perform complex processes related to financial reporting and analysis.
