Job summary

A growing home decor company in Mandaluyong is seeking an experienced accountant to manage daily accounting functions, including processing transactions and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate holds a BS Accountancy, preferably with bookkeeping experience. Strong analytical skills are required. Work schedule is from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday.

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• Preferably with work experience in bookkeeping.

Job description

• Ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively
• Process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Ensures that the aging of accounts are strictly monitored especially for clients who have terms agreement
• Preparing bank deposits, general ledger postings and reconciling bank statements
• Keeping financial records updated
• Daily encoding of financial transactions in database
• Track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
• Work Schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday
