TRANSNATIONAL DIVERSIFIED GROUP, INC. is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager to support member companies in general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and analysis.
This role ensures timely and accurate financial information in line with GAAP, corporate policies and external audits. You will oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, review journal entries and reconciliations, develop policies and controls, mentor accounting staff, and coordinate with Internal Audit, Tax
The Accounting Assistant Manager provides assistance and support to member companies by assisting in managing the functions and operations in general accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. He/she shall be responsible to create and/or provide accurate and timely financial/accounting information, data, projections, and reports, in conformity to the generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits.
Financial Management & Reporting
Support the Accounting Manager in overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
Exercise oversight on proper classification and booking of transactions.
Assist in the preparation of management and statutory reports.
Policy, Controls & Compliance
Help develop and implement accounting and finance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and government/statutory requirements.
Work with Internal Audit, Tax, and Finance teams for regulatory and periodic reporting.
Recommend systems and controls to prevent fraud and irregularities.
Planning & Process Improvement
Support business planning activities and resource requirements of the department.
Monitor and improve existing workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Participate in system and process enhancements aligned with operational strategies.
Leadership & Team Management
Assist in leading and mentoring accounting staff.
Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Ensure team members have clear objectives and development plans.
Align team priorities with company and corporate goals.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with various departments and present financial information to stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA license is required.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in financial systems and reporting tools is highly desirable.
