Job summary

MAA Integrated Waste Solution Corporation in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations. You will record transactions, assist with payables/receivables, and help prepare financial statements with accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel/Office.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork; integrity with confidential data.
• Ability to work independently following procedures.
• Previous accounting experience or internship is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Record and process financial transactions including invoices, receipts, and expense reports with accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting docs.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee records verification.
• File and organise financial documents per policy and regulations.
• Support audits by providing requested information and docs.
• Assist senior staff with special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
