Job summary

Milight Partners Asia Pacific Inc. in Makati City is hiring an Accounting Assistant to join the growing team. You will handle daily bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, and support payroll and tax compliance within a dynamic, client-focused environment.

The role requires a relevant degree and at least 2 years in accounting, with proficiency in Excel and strong communication. CPA familiarity is a plus, and mulitple client experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in CPA/audit/outsourced environment
• Familiarity with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and deadline-driven

Responsibilities

• Handle daily bookkeeping and accounting transactions
• Prepare bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with BIR tax returns and compliance requirements
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation
• Assist with payroll and statutory contributions
• Support SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG remittances
• Assist with SEC, LGU, and other government filings
• Prepare documents and schedules for audits
• Maintain accurate accounting records and compliance trackers
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team
