Oxford Distributions, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations, process financial documents, record transactions, and maintain organized records. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of accounting or BIR/tax compliance experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, and proficiency in Excel. You will work onsite in Quezon City and assist with BIR filings, audits, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of accounting or BIR/tax compliance experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of BIR tax filings and compliance requirements.
• Experience in account reconciliation and preparation of accounting schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organized with good record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned in FPJ Ave Del Monte Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly accounting records in preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR filings.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of required BIR reports and schedules.
• Prepare supporting documents and schedules required for annual Financial Statements.
• Prepare and organize documents needed for BIR audits and tax examinations.
• Reconcile BIR reports and tax-related records across company affiliates.
• Monitor and maintain accountable forms and related records.
• Ensure tax and compliance-related documents are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
• Assist the Accounting Team with other compliance and reconciliation requirements.
