Job summary

LYTHAUS LIGHTING SUPPLY is seeking an Accounting professional to oversee financial procedures, records, and statements to meet regulatory requirements. The role involves preparing audit documentation and coordinating semi-annual audits with the CFO, while reconciling monthly accounts and guiding the accounting team.

The candidate should have an accounting degree (CPA advantage) and strong math, analytics, and communication skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and common accounting software.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree; CPA is advantageous but not required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong math and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Must be organized regarding state and local tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the company's financial procedures, records, and statements for compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare documentation for External Auditors.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO if necessary.
• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits.
• Reconcile accounts monthly for accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Delegate financial tasks to the accounting team.
• Prepare disbursements and manage expenses to ensure funding.
• Schedule payments for budget purposes.
• Prepare weekly reports to management on financial status.
• Follow up collections and coordinate with the Sales Department.
