Paramount Life & General Insurance Corp. is seeking an entry-level accounting support to process financial transactions, prepare documents, and maintain accurate records in our Cabanatuan City office.
The role involves handling CVs/JVs, bank documentation, month-end tasks, and coordination with branches and internal teams to ensure compliance and timely reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial transactions, preparing accounting documents, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the timely completion of operational and accounting requirements.
Level: Rank & File (Entry level)
Office Location: Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija
Work Hours: 8:00 to 5:00 Mon-Fri
Process branch replenishment requests, including Agency Expense Budget (AEB), Policy Loans, Maturities, and Refunds within the prescribed turnaround time.
Facilitate the disbursement of Head Office and District Manager policy benefits, investment proceeds, and other Head Office check requests.
Prepare, verify, and process Check Vouchers (CVs) and Journal Vouchers (JVs) accurately and on schedule.
Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely filing of accounting and financial documents.
Maintain organized filing systems for accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Process documentation related to bank account opening, account updates, and account closures.
Coordinate with branches, clients, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting and operational transactions.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and established procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of financial records and sensitive company information.
Assist in month-end closing activities and perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, and related courses
Preferably with experience in the Insurance, banking, or financial services industry.
Experience in accounting operations, bookkeeping, or financial administration is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with branches, clients, banks, and internal departments.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
