Job summary

RELX in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accounting professional to perform general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance and reconciliation of financial statements such as balance sheets and P&L. The role supports forecasting, budgeting and budgeting variances, and analyzes statutory accounts for accuracy and compliance.

We value attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, and strong communication skills to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years in accounting or financial analysis roles.
Experience in General Accounting and R2R processes.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Perform general accounting activities, including ledger prep, maintenance and reconciliation.
Prepare, record, analyze and report accounting transactions.
Provide financial support, including forecasting and budgeting.
Analyze statutory accounts, financial statements and reports.
Document accounting projects as needed.
Develop professional capabilities and apply discipline knowledge.
Analyze solutions using standard procedures with guidance from seniors.
